A commentary on John 1:45-46. We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph

As I read my Bible, especially the gospels, I find that I am frequently lost as I try to put the narratives into a chronological order (it is not mandatory to have things in a tight, chronological order, but I … Continue reading

I finally heard a Pastor take a bold stance and say, I am 100% going to declare the day; and so am I.

I recently heard a group of pastors who were doing a video round-table and one of them, in the process of introducing himself, decided to push the religious envelope by saying, I am 100% going to declare the day. He … Continue reading

I am no different than you. I, too, have to fight through the fears and verbal attacks from zealots.

The author expresses a belief in Jesus’ imminent return coinciding with the Feast of Trumpets, particularly around the new moon sighting in September 2025. They emphasize the significance of recent events, including proposed peace efforts in Israel and the potential consequences of attempting to divide the land. The discussion reflects on biblical prophecies and the uncertainty of specific timings regarding spiritual revelations and the return of Christ. Continue reading

Someone I know wrote to me asking if I could contrast and compare the rapture to the cross. To be honest, it did not seem like there was a comparison. I have discovered a depth I did not know.

The text compares the crucifixion and the rapture, emphasizing Jesus’ significance. It illustrates the thief on the cross, who gained salvation through belief in Christ. It discusses scriptural interpretations of Jesus’ actions, sacrifice, and the shift in salvation history following the cross, along with the implications of judgment and eternal life for believers. What is the purpose of the rapture – the catching away of the Church.

The content discusses the rapture, God’s wrath, and enduring tribulations, emphasizing that believers may be subjected to injustice but will not suffer God’s wrath. Biblical references illustrate God’s anger towards sin and disobedience, stressing the significance of salvation through Jesus. It concludes with the future gathering of the church to Christ. ” one will be taken and one will be left.” ?? Matthew 24:40-44

We ended the last study looking at Matthew 24:36-39, as Jesus compared what the times would be like when He comes back as the Messiah that the Jews long for. Most Bibles title this section “No one knows the day … Continue reading

I got a message from a friend that I needed to address.

I received a message that read something like this—I say sort of because I had to make it legible. I am not sure how my acquaintance integrated this point about “The blood on his cloak,”  but he added some say … Continue reading

And God saw the light. Genesis 1:1-4.

In my previous post, I had hoped to establish that all things were created perfectly from the moment Jesus first spoke all things into existence. I believe that the primary creation happened in verse one. “In the beginning God created the heavens … Continue reading

“We are to know” what is going on around us. A different way to think about Eschatology. Matthew 24.

Thanks to a change in the atmosphere, I am jumping out of our study on Matthew once again. If I did not say it before, let me say it now. I have been struggling with mild depression. Some would say … Continue reading
